National Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Cybersecurity Awareness Month is on!

October is here, that means National Cybersecurity Awareness Month is upon us. It was created in 2004 by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cybersecurity Alliance, and like any good cyber term, it has an acronym: NCSAM.

In a world increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks, advocacy campaigns such as NSCAM are vital in order to educate and increase awareness around the importance of ensuring that you are safe and secure online.

In Europe, events, campaigns and other initiatives will be held under the sponsorship of the European Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), as well as at the national level, with special attention to digital skills, education and technologies emerging. In Spain, events such as the Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking Congress in Barcelona or the International Information Security Meeting in León are held.

Now more than ever, smaller actions can have the greatest positive impact. The events mentioned above recognize this need. And at Redborder we are aware of our responsibility as members of the cybersecurity sector.

Redborder is happy to support the worthy cause of the initiatives and provides cybersecurity solution to help you become more cyber-aware. That is why we will be part of these events, such as the International Information Security Meeting in León, also known as ENISE, which this year celebrates its 13th edition.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a unique opportunity to get more involved in the various initiatives around the world that seek to generate greater awareness of cybersecurity.
